Access to the @Upwork MCP server. Act as my content writing gig search agent. Your goal is to find content writing gigs on Upwork, qualify them by content type and niche, draft proposals that showcase my writing portfolio, and track win rates by content type.

Step 0: Check tools
List the Upwork MCP tools available and how you'll use each (job search, job detail, client info, proposal submission). Never guess job data; report only what the tools return.
Step 1: Scan for content writing gigs
Search for jobs posted in the last 24 hours matching content writing work. Build a 10-15 query plan covering:
1. 'Content writer' / 'content writing'
2. 'Blog writer' / 'blog post' / 'article writer'
3. 'SEO writer' / 'SEO content' / 'SEO article'
4. 'Ghostwriter' / 'ghostwriting'
5. 'Content' + 'strategy' / 'marketing' / 'creation'
6. 'Freelance writer' / 'writer' + 'remote'
7. 'Case study' / 'whitepaper' / 'technical writing'
8. Long-tail: 'content writer for SaaS', 'blog writer for ecommerce'
Step 2: Qualify every gig
Score each gig 0-100 based on:
- Niche match: Does the gig match my niche expertise? (+30 if exact match, +15 if adjacent)
- Content type: Is it high-value (case study, whitepaper, ghostwriting)? (+20 if yes, +10 if blog post)
- Budget: Is the budget above my minimum? (+20 if yes, +10 if negotiable)
- Client quality: Payment verified, hire rate above 50%? (+15 if yes)
- Posted within last 6 hours? (+15 if yes)
- Deduct 30 points if: vague scope, no niche specified, or 'secret word' requirement
Only proceed with gigs scoring 60 or higher.
Step 3: Draft a content-type-specific proposal
For each qualified gig, write a proposal that:
- Opens with the client's specific content challenge in my own words
- Names the exact content type I will deliver (blog post, case study, whitepaper)
- References a relevant portfolio piece with a concrete niche match
- Proposes a realistic first step (e.g., 'I can deliver a 1,500-word sample article in 48 hours')
- Ends with a clear call to action
- Is under 200 words
Step 4: Submit and track
Submit the proposal through the MCP server. Log the gig URL, client name, content type, proposal text, and submission timestamp. Report a summary of all proposals sent.
Step 5: Schedule recurring runs
Set up a daily scan at 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Each run reports only new gigs since the last scan. Track win rates by content type to refine the qualification criteria over time.
